Designed for first time campers, our Junior camp program is created to offer young campers a carefully supervised introduction to sleep-away camp.

From morning wake-up to evening “Taps”, campers are involved in age-appropriate activities including an introduction to the Bible, crafts, games, hayrides, fishing, hiking, kayaking, outdoor exploration classes, swimming, camp fires with s’mores and an all camp bonfire.

This Christ-centered program will be a positive and life changing experience for the young, first-time camper.

About Your Junior Camp Director: Mary Hankins
Being born into a large family, and raised on a farm, offered Mary countless opportunities for hiking, camping and leading her younger siblings on outdoor adventures. But it wasn’t until she was a parent herself that Mary was first introduced to Camp Timberledge. She then spent several summers as a Young Teen camp counselor.

In 2007, Mary took the reigns as Director for Junior Camp, shifting her 20-plus years of Sunday school teaching and youth ministry event planning into high-gear. Her passion for Camp Timberledge ensures that all young campers feel supported and are encouraged to thrive in what is for many, their first “sleep away” camping experience.

Camp Fees:
Super Early Bird Registration Fee (Jan. 1, 2018 and closes Mar. 1): $330.00 with $75 deposit due at registration
Early Bird Registration (Opens Mar. 2 and closes June 1): $350.00 with $75 deposit due at registration
Registration Fee (After June 2): $365 per week
The LT@CT program cost is $130. To be eligible for the LT program students must attend Senior Camp and pay the Senior Teen Camp rate. 

Families with 3 or more campers receive a 25% discount.
Fee reduced $40 for campers eligible for Summer Food Program.
